Abodeschools Nursery the child is at the heart of all we do. We take account of their needs, interests and stages of development and use this to provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.

Outdoor Learning

The Outdoor Learning experience is an integral part of the learning process at Long Close School. With a long tradition of facilitating students’ connection to Active Learning outdoors, our goal is to promote our pupils comfort in, and understanding of, the natural environment.

Learning Support

We are committed to providing every child with the same access to learning and the same high-quality teaching. This is reflected in the fabric of the nursery building, where we have ramps available for wheelchair access and the rooms are laid out and furnished to ensure that everyone can be included in our activities.

Senior School

Students from Grade IX to XII have access to excellent science labs where the school has catered for enough apparatus and space so that each student performs the experiments individually. Even students of Grade VI to VIII are captivated and absorbed in Science activities in the ‘composite lab’.

Clubs & Activities

We guide students to discover and create their own understanding. Besides academics, co scholastic activities form an integral part of the school curriculum. This aspect includes wide range of co-curricular activities. A student will be expected to choose any two skills from below mentioned four groups and he/she will be assessed on their level of participation and achievement.

Junior School

The junior school offers a very vibrant, colourful, thematic, inviting and knowledgeable experience for a child to start his/her journey at school. The various levels of Kindergarten i.e. Chicklets, Nestling, Fledgling, Cygnets symbolize the journey of a baby bird learning to fly and spreading its wings all over on its own. This very much reflects in the infrastructure of the junior school.
